OPINION: China eases restrictions on labor migration, and that is excellent
The world is moving in Jiangsu, Shandong, Jiangxi, and Zhejiang. These Chinese provinces are rolling back their huji restrictions on domestic mobility, spearheading an announced partial dismantling at the national level. This turnaround is a boon for Chinese workers, for China, and for the global economy. Hundreds of millions of Chinese will gain additional freedom of mobility. The humanitarian and economic opportunities are enormous.
