The 21st century has brought the century of smart power
In our changing world, we are witnessing a shift of power centres from West to East, with old power logics and political certainties rapidly changing and even disappearing. We are once again living in an era of geopolitics, but in increasingly complex webs of relations, soft power and, even more so, smart power are becoming more and more important for states than hard power.
