According to the Association of Cosmetics Producers, Türkiye's exports of cosmetics during the first 9 months of this year amounted to one billion and 76 million dollars, Anadolu Agency reported.
In a statement to Anadolu Agency on Saturday, the head of the Turkish Cosmetics and Cleaning Products Industry Council, Ahmet Bora, explained that cosmetic products are exported to more than 150 countries.
He added that the country's exports of cosmetic products during the first nine months increased by 19% compared to the same period last year.
Bora predicted that cosmetics exports in 2023 will reach $1.5 billion.

Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD Co Ltd agreed with the Turkish government to build a $1 billion production plant in Türkiye with an annual capacity of 150,000 vehicles.
