On Friday, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán held bilateral talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Antalya, Türkiye, the Prime Minister's Communications Department informed MTI.

The parties discussed the issue of securing Hungary's energy supply to the south. Due to Ukraine's hostile behaviour, Hungary's gas supply to the east has practically ceased, and it can only ensure its secure energy supply and maintain the gas supply through the Turkish Stream.

They also discussed the development of Hungarian-Turkish economic, military and defence cooperation, the Prime Minister's Communications Department added.
