Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will pay an official visit to Kyrgyzstan on 5 November. Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister's press chief, confirmed with MTI on Friday.
According to news portals citing the Kyrgyz president's office, the visit will include high-level talks during which the parties will discuss several issues related to the strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Hungary. They also plan to sign several documents to further develop and strengthen bilateral cooperation, they said.
Bertalan Havasi added that Orbán will also participate in the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States meeting in Bishkek on 6 November.
Kyrgyz Prime Minister Akilbek Zhaparov visited Budapest on 11 October. At the meeting, the two sides discussed the importance of peace in international affairs, as the war in Ukraine is having a negative impact on the development of our economies and trade relations between our countries.
The Kyrgyz Prime Minister said at the time that he saw scope for deepening bilateral cooperation, particularly in the fields of agriculture and water management.
