The vast library offers a range of reading spaces within its eye-catching architectural design, while the cutting-edge technology is used to create a pleasant and comfortable reading environment for book lovers. To celebrate its opening, the library hosted a diverse range of cultural events for visitors to enjoy, such as a concert, a hanfu exhibition, a photo exhibition, and many other interactive activities, CGTN added.
According to Global Times, covering approximately 75,000 square meters, the library houses a collection of 8 million books and has around 2,400 reading seats. The library aims to set new standards for sustainable design, distinguishing itself from conventional libraries by utilizing technology, smart design, and local resources.
