Thailand’s seaside resort city of Pattaya has been recognized as the top choice for Thai families when it comes to holiday destinations, according to a survey conducted by Agoda, The Pattaya News writes.

On Agoda’s list, Pattaya is followed by Hua Hin /Cha-am in second place and Phuket in third place, the article adds. These rankings are based on data from Thai travelers’ accommodation searches during the early part of last year, The Pattaya News explains.

The reason that Pattaya is the top pick is because Thai families mostly desire to relax and spend quality time together in the coastal town, the article quotes Peeraphon Sa-nga-muang, director of Agoda Thailand.
