The Kuwait College of Science and Technology (KCST) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Tengrai, a leading artificial intelligence firm based in Hungary. The agreement was formalized during a visit by Tengrai’s founder, W. Szabo Peter, and the Hungarian Ambassador to Kuwait, András Szabó, who were warmly received by Professor Khaled Al-Baqa’in, President of KCST.

Following the signing ceremony, Professor Al-Baqa’in gave the visitors a comprehensive tour of the campus, showcasing the college’s state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge scientific laboratories. The tour was designed to highlight KCST's commitment to advancing scientific education and research, as reported by Alanba.

As part of the visit, a workshop titled “Images Generated by Artificial Intelligence: How Machine Learning Works, and How It Can Benefit You” was conducted by W. Szabo Peter. This event, endorsed by Professor Al-Baqa’in, was aimed at enhancing the professional skills of the college’s administrative staff and academics. It underscored KCST's dedication to keeping its faculty and staff abreast of the latest technological advancements in AI.

In recognition of his valuable contribution, Professor Al-Baqa’in presented W. Szabo Peter with a commemorative shield from KCST, symbolizing the college's appreciation for Tengrai’s collaboration.

Hungarian Ambassador András Szabó remarked on the significance of the partnership, stating, “Today we live in an era where artificial intelligence is indispensable. AI is reshaping our world and the future of humanity, making our lives easier and more efficient. Through machine learning, we can achieve intelligent decision-making, mirroring human thought processes.”
