According to a report the number of investors is on the rise with innovation, entrepreneurship and sports among the most preferred areas of investor interest in the first quarter of this year, Asharq Al-Awsat reported.

The Saudi government concluded 104 investment deals in the first quarter of this year, compared with around 101 in the same period last year, an increase of around 3%. According to a report released by the Ministry of Investment, the number of investors in the country is on the rise and the distribution of deals by economic activity shows that innovation, entrepreneurship and sports were among the areas of investor interest in the first quarter of this year, Asharq Al-Awsat reported.

Saudi Arabia's foreign direct investment balance increased by 0.7% on a quarterly basis in Q4 2022 to over $266 billion), indicating the effectiveness of efforts to increase the attractiveness of investment by improving the environment and encouraging entrepreneurs.
