The latest edition of Eurasia focuses on the relations between the European Union and Asia, featuring an interview with China's leading foreign policy thinker, Yan Xuetong.

Prominent Chinese foreign policy thinker Yan Xuetong recently held a lecture at the Danube Institute in Budapest about China’s foreign policy and counter-globalisation. We sat down with the Dean of The Institute of International Relations at Tsinghua University to discuss the future of US-Chinese relations, de-risking and Hungary’s role in the BRI.

We spoke to Bruno Lanvin, President of the Smart City Observatory about de-risking, competitiveness and how the world trade changes, on the sidelines of the Budapest Eurasia Forum.

If relations between the West and China were to drift further away and the EU were to try to take similar measures against China, the consequences would be disastrous - writes András Kosztur (21st Century Institute).

Singapore and Hungary play a crucial role as they provide a platform and a meeting point for various countries and companies to share technology, exchange data, showcase their capabilities, and establish joint ventures, Bernard Yeung, Emeritus President of the Asian Bureau of Finance and Economic Research told us on the sidelines of the Budapest Eurasia Forum.
