Two-thirds of China's 1.4 billion people think they will be healthy enough to live to be at least 80 years old, according to a new survey reflecting the increasing importance of health and longevity in the wake of the pandemic, the Souch China Morning Post reported.

In Prudential's survey of 5,000 residents from 13 Asian markets, China ranked in the top three for confidence in healthy longevity, and Asians tend to do more to prioritise family and health.

While five years ago, their main focus was on professional success, this has now been replaced by spending more time with family and then maintaining emotional and mental health, the results show, according to the SCMP article.
